DigitalBits have not taken an official stance on the issue surrounding missed sponsorship payments to Inter, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by Calcio e Finanza, the cryptocurrency have so far not taken a stance on the delayed payments that they should have made to Inter as the main shirt sponsor.
In response to the missed payments, Inter have removed the logo of DigitalBits from the club website and they have also removed any trace of the company from the advertising hoarding in Cesena where their televised friendly against Lyon will be played on Saturday evening.
In a forum that DigitalBits respond to users in, they have dismissed the rumours about their missed payments as ‘FUD’ which is an acronym used in chats and forums that stands for ‘fear, uncertainty and disinformation’.
It seems that there will not be a very quick fix to the issue given there is no official statement even claiming innocence.
