Former AC Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi has said that he would like Simone Inzaghi to be more daring but the Scudetto is Inter’s target, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Arrigo Sacchi discussed the fact that the target for the Nerazzurri this season has to be the Scudetto and he thinks they could have what it takes to do it.

“Scudetto is the target. Inter have a very consolidated team structure, I expect the manoeuvre to become more fluid and more courageous.”

He was then asked which player can make the difference for Inter during the season and he pointed out that the obvious answer is Romelu Lukaku but the whole team will be important.

“Easy to say Lukaku. His return has produced enthusiasm that will be useful fuel especially in this start. But you always need the support of the team.”

Arrigo Sacchi then talked about where Inter can improve and he suggested that Simone Inzaghi could be a bit more adventurous with his formations and the way that the team press high up the pitch.

“Inzaghi is good and has made remarkable improvements. Inter has a precise identity, but I would like him to be more daring. If you keep five defenders, it’s almost impossible to press and the midfielders get into trouble.”
