Former Inter Primavera coach Fulvio Pea has said that Romelu Lukaku will make the Nerazzurri fans dream this season, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking during an interview with L’Interista, Fulvio Pea was asked about his thought on Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter from Chelsea and the impact that it could have on the team.

He clearly thinks that the Belgian player was a very good pickup for the Nerazzurri and will have an effect on the fans.

“It will have a very positive impact, both for the technical and physical qualities of the player. And as soon as he reaches an excellent athletic condition, he will return to make his fans dream, who valued his return more than his farewell.”

He also passed comment on the transfer strategy that Inter are having to use this summer to make sure that they stay economically sound. He feels that it is hard to achieve what you want to achieve in the transfer market if you start with those parameters.

“Inter is back, as it has been in the past, needing to sell in order to create balance in the budget: starting from this need it is never easy to do the market as you want. From here, the directors show their ability to surprise, buying many players who have proved (and will prove) important for the season.”

One team that many Inter fans are worried about is Juventus and Fulvio Pea certainly thinks that they are the favourite for the Scudetto.

“Juventus has changed a lot and presents itself at the starting line as the main candidate to win the Scudetto. Today it has a large squad with good players, but above all flexible players who can, by necessity, replace those who are currently not there or are not at the top.”
