Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has said that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been bewitched by Inter youngster Cesare Casadei, according to a report in the Italian media.
As was written by the journalist on his website gianlucadimarzio.com, the German coach is incredibly keen on bringing the 2003 class midfielder to Stamford Bridge next season to continue his development.
The two clubs discussed the player when Inter were negotiating the loan of Romelu Lukaku but the Nerazzurri did not want t include counterparts in that deal.
He was then involved in the deal for Gleison Bremer to join from Torino but that did not happen as Juventus met the asking price first.
Chelsea have started to make advances to buy the Italian outright and that is because Thomas Tuchel is still very keen on him.
“Chelsea continues to try for Cesare Casadei. The 2003 class, who bewitched Thomas Tuchel and the English club, had already ended up in the talks between the two clubs during the negotiations that then brought Romelu Lukaku back to Inter.”
The stumbling block is that Inter want to include a buy-back clause but Chelsea will not want that.
