Inter are getting closer and closer to meeting their financial goals for the summer as they look set to offload striker Andrea Pinamonti, wingback Valentino Lazaro, and forward Alexis Sanchez.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the objective of slashing the wage bill put forward by Inter owners Suning looks to be in sight with these three departures.

Inter have already seen a number of players depart to lighten their wage bill, even taking into account the arrival of several players including Romelu Lukaku who has come back from Chelsea on high wages.

However, more needs to be done, and seeing the back of Sanchez is one of the keys to this.

The Chilean is edging closer to a move to Marseille, and the Nerazzurri should be able to agree a termination of his contract by mutual consent by paying a severance at a gross amount of €8 million, which will still see them save on his wages.

Meanwhile, Lazaro looks set for a loan move to Torino, with the Granata having a €5 million purchase option, and even with Inter paying part of his wages his departure will help lighten the wage bill.

Lastly, Pinamonti should depart soon for a sizable transfer fee, while the loss of the 23-year-old’s wages will also be welcomed by the club in view of their objective of slashing the wage bill.
