Inter would be more inclined to let young midfielder Cesare Casadei join an Italian team with a buyback option than sell him to Chelsea.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are not convinced by the fact that the Blues don’t want to insert a buyback clause in a deal, and so prefer an Italian solution for the 19-year-old on whom Sassuolo are keen.

Casadei’s future is still in the balance, with the midfielder having been included in the failed talks with Torino for Bremer but still at Inter at the moment.

The Nerazzurri will not sell the 19-year-old for under €10 million, and they also do not want to lose control of his future permanently so would prefer a loan move or a sale containing a buyback clause.

Sassuolo are very interested, whilst the likes of Torino and Sampdoria have also come forward, and a deal with one of these clubs would be Inter’s preference despite Chelsea having also stepped up.
