Inter are willing to lower their €20 million asking price to Atalanta for striker Andrea Pinamonti if a buyback clause is to be inserted in the deal.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta would be prepared to offer a slight discount to get a deal over the line with Atalanta, but only in the event that La Dea accept the buyback option.

Atalanta look to be getting closer and closer to signing Pinamonti, with the Lombards the player’s first choice and the 23-year-old a major target for them.

The fee involved in the deal has long been a sticking point for La Dea, as the Nerazzurri have been clear on their valuation of €20 million for Pinamonti.

However, given that Inter still do not want to fully give up control of Pinamonti’s future, they could go a little lower if a buyback option is included.
