Inter wingback Valentino Lazaro is set to undergo his medicals ahead of a move to Torino on Monday.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Granata will sign the Austrian on an initial loan deal which contains an option to buy him on a permanent basis for €6 million.

Lazaro returned to Inter from his loan spell with Benfica this summer, with the Portuguese team having been his third loan club since joining the Nerazzurri from Hertha Berlin during the summer of 2019.

The 26-year-old, who had also been loaned out to Newcastle United and Borussia Monchengladbach, will stay within Serie A this time around, with the Granata ready to complete a deal for him.

Lazaro will undergo his medicals and then immediately start work with Ivan Juric’s squad ahead of next season, with the beginning of the campaign now just a couple weeks away.
