Simone Inzaghi used two different Inter elevens in the training friendly against Pro Sesto on Thursday evening, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInter1908, Simone Inzaghi has been desperate to make sure that as many players in his squad have got as much match fitness as possible ahead of the game against Lecce.

Inter will have 21 games to play between August 13 and November 13 which means that he will need everyone in the squad to be able to play a part when they are called upon.

In the first half he played a team that had Samir Handanovic in goal with Danilo D’Ambrosio, Stefan de Vrij and Federico Dimarco as the centre-backs.

Denzel Dumfries, Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu and Matteo Darmian played across the middle with Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku upfront.

In the second half it was Andre Onana with Darmian, Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni ahead of him. Raoul Bellanova, Roberto Gagliardini, Kristjan Asllani, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Robin Gosens across the middle and then Joaquin Correa and Edin Dzeko upfront.
