Arsenal are thinking about joining the chase for young Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei, whilst Chelsea are also preparing a new offer.
This according to Italian news outlet Repubblica.it, who report that the two London clubs are wary of the Nerazzurri’s €20 million valuation for the 19-year-old but still believe that they can push to sign him.
Chelsea have resumed their long-term pursuit of Casadei in recent weeks, whilst now Arsenal have also emerged as suitors who want to bring the midfielder to the Premier League.
Inter have been clear that they will not let either of the two clubs sign Casadei without a very high fee being attached, and neither are willing to pay the €20 million asking price as things stand.
However, the Blues are preparing another offer to try and test Inter’s resolve, whilst the Gunners are also beginning to get serious in their interest as the Nerazzurri could yet face more pressure to sell Casadei.
