Inter are close to agreeing a termination of forward Alexis Sanchez’s contract by mutual consent, and it could come in a meeting set for tomorrow.

This according to Chilean news outlet Al Aire Libre, who report that the 33-year-old’s agent Fernando Felicevich will work to find an agreement on his departure in tomorrow’s meeting with the Nerazzurri, as he edges closer to a move to Marseille.

Inter have been working to find an agreement on an exit with Sanchez all summer, but have not been able to convince the player who has wanted to wait until he can find a new club with what he considers to be a suitable sporting project.

Marseille have stepped up their interest in the Chilean, who is almost ready to join Igor Tudor’s side who can offer him Champions League football.

Talks between Sanchez’s representatives and Marseille have intensified, but first a termination of his Inter contract which still has one season left to run must be agreed.
