The Managing Director of cryptocurrency company DigitalBits has spoken about the payment issues regarding his company’s sponsorship deal with Inter, explaining that the deal is managed by another company Zytara.

Speaking on his company’s official Telegram channel, as reported by FCInter1908, DigitalBits Managing Director Daniele Mensi stated that it is this third party who are in charge of the deals with Inter as well as Roma.

Inter have changed their front shirt sponsor for the upcoming season, with last campaign’s sponsor Socios.com being replaced with DigitalBits, who had previously been a sleeve sponsor last season, and are also the front shirt sponsor for fellow Serie A side Roma.

The partnership looks to have gotten off to a rocky start due to payment issues with the cryptocurrency company’s deals with the Nerazzurri as well as the Giallorossi, and on Mensi’s part, he feels that the issues are for Zytara to address.

“As has been repeated several times, the partnerships with Inter and Roma are contractually managed by Zytara,” he explained, “so if anyone expects an answer or details from us, unfortunately, none of us can speak on their behalf.”

“Knowing all the teams involved, I am confident that they will take all necessary steps to give all of us the confidence and commitment to leverage DigitalBits blockchain,” he continued. “Ultimately, this is where value is created – let’s trust the process.”
