Inter could agree a termination of forward Alexis Sanchez’s contract by mutual consent during a meeting with his agent today.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Chilean’s representative Fernando Felicevich will visit the Nerazzurri today and that an agreement could finally be found on an exit with severance pay as he draws closer to Marseille.

Inter have been trying to find an agreement with Sanchez for much of the summer on a departure with severance pay without being able to, but now he looks to have made his decision to join Marseille.

The 33-year-old’s Nerazzurri contract will have to be terminated before his can happen, and the club are more than ready to do so.

Sanchez’s agent Felicevich has a meeting scheduled with the Nerazzurri today, and the anticipated outcome is that a definitive agreement will be reached on a departure with severance pay, which should cost the club around €8 million gross.
