Inter forward Alexis Sanchez looks to be on the verge of choosing Marseille as his club as he feels that they have a suitable sporting project for the next step in his career.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 33-year-old has been convinced on the move as he will be offered regular playing time, Champions League football, and a high-level project under coach Igor Tudor.

Sanchez is finally close to agreeing a termination of his Inter contract, and a key factor in this is the fact that he has finally settled on a new club.

A number of teams have come forward for the Chilean throughout the summer transfer window, but he has remained unconvinced by all of them and has insisted on delaying his Nerazzurri exit until deciding on a new club.

Marseille have pushed for Sanchez’s signature in recent weeks, and he has been promised a prominent role for the Ligue 1 team by newly-appointed coach Igor Tudor, whilst their place in the Champions League has also played a prominent role in his decision.
