Inter will offer Milan Skriniar a new deal worth €6 million net per season in order to convince him to extend his contract until the end of June 2027.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri will offer the improved terms to the Slovakian in response to the offer which he had looked close to expecting from Paris Saint-Germain.

Prior to the beginning of the summer transfer window, Inter had had a deal worth €5 million net per season on the table ready for Skriniar, and were planning to extend his contract from the end of June 2023 until the end of June 2027.

The interest of PSG in the 27-year-old had gotten to the point where he looked close to agreeing personal terms with the Parisians, who had offered him a significant wage increase to €9 million net per season.

Skriniar is well aware that Inter cannot offer him a deal this size and does not expect one, but will be wanting more than had been put on the table in the spring.
