Sassuolo could move in to sign Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti if Atalanta do not get a deal wrapped up for him soon.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Neroverdi would be ready to move for the 23-year-old if they complete a sale of Giacomo Raspadori to Napoli.

Atalanta have been targeting Pinamonti for much of the season, but so far they have not managed to make an offer which has reached Inter’s €20 million asking price.

The Nerazzurri will not offer too much of a discount on the striker, and so the talks are at an impasse until La Dea come back with an improved offer.

In the meantime, Sassuolo are keen on Pinamonti, and will be able to meet the Nerazzurri’s demands in the event that they bring in a big fee for Raspadori, which they are prepared to do if Atalanta continue to stall on a deal.
