Atalanta will try and get a deal for Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti wrapped up today already amid the interest of Sassuolo in beating them to the 23-year-old’s signature.

This according to Rome-based newspaper SportMediaset, who report that La Dea are pushing to get a deal for Pinamonti over the line as soon as possible to avoid losing out on him.

Atalanta have been pushing to sign Pinamonti for some time, but they have not yet managed to put the finishing touches on a deal as they have still not managed to meet the Nerazzurri’s asking price.

The Lombards remain the player’s preferred destination ahead of other interested clubs like Salernitana and Monza, whilst he prefers a stay in Italy over a move to interested clubs abroad.

However, with Sassuolo eyeing up a move, Atalanta are wary and want to quickly snap up Pinamonti before the Neroverdi have the chance to swoop.
