Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries would be ready to say yes to a move to Chelsea, although the Nerazzurri have rejected the first offer for the Dutchman.

This according to Italian news outlet Repubblica.it, who report that the 26-year-old would be ready to make the move but that the Blues have yet to make an offer that meets Inter’s €35-40 million valuation for him.

Chelsea have stepped up their pursuit of Dumfries in recent weeks, with the Dutchman having been marked out as a target and included in discussions for Romelu Lukaku, with the Nerazzurri rebuffing their interest at that time.

Now, the player could be ready to accept an offer from the Blues, according to La Repubblica, although it will remain to be seen whether or not the Premier League club can make an offer which convinces Inter.

The Nerazzurri are likely to hold out in their asking price for Dumfries, and the next few days could be decisive to see whether an offer arrives that tests their resolve.
