Inter are set to formalize the agreement to terminate Alexis Sanchez’s contract by mutual consent today.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are set to hold a meeting with the 33-year-old and his agent to put pen to paper on his exit from the club.

Yesterday Inter met with Sanchez’s agent Fernando Felicevich, in which the terms of his departure from the club with severance pay were agreed, with the final amount being about 5 million net as an incentive for the Chilean to terminate his deal.

Now, Sanchez looks to be set to sign a two-year contract with Marseille, which will see him earn around 3 million net per season with the French club.

Sanchez cost the Nerazzurri a total of 35 million gross between wages and the severance payment they will make across his three seasons at the club, initially on loan from Manchester United and then on a permanent basis
