Inter would be willing to sell Cesare Casadei to Sassuolo for an offer of €10 million if a buyback option is included in the deal.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri would be open to accepting a lower offer from the Neroverdi from Chelsea with a buyback option being key.
Inter have decisively rejected Chelsea’s first offer from Chelsea for Casadei, worth €8 million, and they would expect the Premier League club to go much higher than this to get a deal done.
On the other hand, Sassuolo are also tracking the 19-year-old, and a key difference could be the Emilians’ considerably greater willingness to agree to a buyback option for the midfielder.
Inter would be open to a sale of Casdei if it does not entail permanently losing control of the 19-year-old’s future, and they would start to listen to offers at €10 million in this case.
