Pisa Target Inter Striker Eddie Salcedo As Lorenzo Lucca Replacement, Italian Broadcaster Reports

Serie B side Pisa have made Inter striker Eddie Salcedo one of their main targets to replace Lorenzo Lucca following his sale to Ajax.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the 20-year-old is top of the Tuscan club’s list to reinforce their attack for next season following Lucca’s departure.

Lucca’s move to Ajax is all but done and Pisa want to immediately move for his replacement following an agreement with the Dutch champions.

Salcedo has emerged as the primary focus of their search according to SportMediaset, and they are getting ready to accelerate the process of trying to sign him over the coming days.

Salcedo spent last season on loan with Spezia where he found playing time hard to come by, having also spent the two seasons prior on loan in Serie A, playing for Hellas Verona.

The young Italian striker could see Pisa as the right next step to get his career back on track.
