Sassuolo are increasingly interested in signing both striker Andrea Pinamonti and midfielder Cesare Casadei this summer.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that both of the Nerazzurri are increasingly concrete targets for the Neroverdi, and that they would be willing to include buyback options in deals for them.

Pinamonti is a target for Atalanta, but with La Dea still not having gotten a deal over the line, Sassuolo are thinking about trying to move for the 23-year-old as a replacement for Gianluca Scamacca who moved to West Ham United.

The sale of Giacomo Raspadori could be crucial for financing a move for Pinamonti, but if La Dea do not act fast then the Neroverdi could move in.

Meanwhile, Casadei is also a player very much in line with Sassuolo’s strategy of targeting and developing young Italian talent, and the Emilians could have a better chance of agreeing a deal for him than fellow suitors Chelsea due to their willingness to agree to a buyback option.
