Sassuolo are getting ready to make a last-minute attempt to sign Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti if they can sell Giacomo Raspadori for a significant fee.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Neroverdi would be ready to swoop in to sign the 23-year-old ahead of Atalanta if Raspadori is sold.

Inter and Atalanta appear to be edging towards a deal for Pinamonti, but there is still work to be done before they are to arrive at an agreement, and in the meantime Sassuolo are thinking about moving in quickly.

Raspadori would first need to be sold in order to bring in the cash necessary for the Emilians to reinvest in Pinamonto, who they’ve identified as one of their main targets to replace Gianluca Scamacca in attack.

However, with the 22-year-old subject to transfer interest, particularly from Napoli, Sassuolo could quickly cash in and then move for Pinamonti.
