Chelsea and Arsenal are ready to go head-to-head for the signature of young Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei.

This according to UK tabloid The Sun, who report that the two London-based clubs are both keen to bring the 19-year-old to the Premier League, and that the Nerazzurri are asking €25 million for, and have demanded a buyback option on any sale.

Casadei has emerged as one of the most promising young players to come through Inter’s academy in some time, and the interest in his signature is growing not just from Italian teams but also from clubs outside of Serie A.

Chelsea have been following the 19-year-old for some time and have registered serious interest in the last week or so, whilst the Gunners are also ready to join them in the chase.

Inter have placed a steep €25 million asking price on Casadei as the interest from some of England’s heavy hitters grows, and their demands of a buyback clause in any deal for him remains firm.
