Inter will make decisions on the futures of defender Danilo D’Ambrosio and wingback Matteo Darmian based on their performances over the coming season.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the duo’s futures are not yet decided upon with their current contracts set to run out at the end of June 2023.

Both D’Ambrosio and Darmian are headed into the final year of their current deals, with D’Ambrosio having been handed a one-year extension this summer whilst Darmian is going into the final season of a three-year deal.

Both had a regular role in the team last season and are still part of manager Simone Inzaghi’s plans, although it remains to be seen how much longer they will have a regular place in the team.

For the moment, things are not decided, but the decision on whether to extend their deals next summer or let them leave at the end of their respective contracts will be made based on what is seen this season.
