Inter have identified Torino’s Wilfired Singo, Leicester City’s Timothy Castagne, and Barcelona’s Sergino Dest among the possible replacements for Denzel Dumfries if the Dutchman leaves.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri are considering the possibilities of a successor for the 26-year-old amid interest from Barcelona.

Inter’s preference would still be to keep hold of Dumfries, but should Chelsea press insistently for him and return with a large offer things could change.

The immediate priority would then be to find a suitable replacement who is capable of being the first-choice option in the position, as neither Raoul Bellanova nor Matteo Darmian are necessarily considered to be up to the task.

Torino wingback Singo would be one of the first names on the Nerazzurri’s list although the Granata aren’t keen on selling another player from their starting eleven this summer, whilst the likes of Castagne and Dest would also be alternatives.
