Italian Journalist Alessandro Canovi: “Romelu Lukaku To Inter The Best Transfer In Serie A So Far This Summer”

Italian journalist Alessandro Canovi believes that so far Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter on loan is the best transfer of any team in Serie A so far.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TMW Radio, Canovi cited the fact that the Belgian has already proven how big of an impact he can have in the Italian top flight as a reason why his transfer is so significant.

Inter will hardly have expected to have the opportunity to bring Lukaku back just one season after his massive money move to Chelsea last summer, but it is one that they grabbed with both hands.

There will be doubts about the 29-year-old given the issues that plagued his single season back in the Premier League, but coach Simone Inzaghi has made no secret that he is keen to work with the striker while the player pushed for himself.

Canovi feels that there is good reason to think that he will be a success, and when asked who he feels is the best transfer in Serie A so far this season responded “Lukaku, who shifted the equilibrium for two seasons already. I think Inter have made an important signing.”
