Young Inter left-back Andrea Pelamatti is set to join Inter’s Primavera setup for next season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 17-year-old’s performances for the Nerazzurri at different youth levels impressed significantly last season that he will be brought into Christian Chivu’s Primavera team for the upcoming campaign.

Pelamatti, who was born in Italy but has chosen to represent the Russian national team for whom he is eligible through his mother’s side at youth level, has come through the Nerazzurri’s youth sector at various level.

The 17-year-old made ten appearances for the Inter Under-17 team last season as well as 17 at the Under-18 level last season, and he is considered ready to take the step up to the Primavera level.

The teenager is versatile enough to play all down the left flank, and he will look to make his mark in Chivu’s Primavera team, who won the Italian Under-19 championship last season and will have high expectations for the season to come.
