Sassuolo and Torino look to be the two clubs still chasing Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei with Chelsea’s interest in the 19-year-old cooled.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that both teams would be willing to include a buyback option in a deal for the midfielder, although both have had initial €8 million bids turned down.

Chelsea had probed for Casadei’s signature but faced resistance from the Nerazzurri who made clear that they wanted a buyback clause inserted in any deal or else a sizable cash offer.

With the Blues having now completed a deal to sign young Aston Villa midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka they appear to have bolstered their midfield with a different young player, and a return for Casadei looks much less likely.

However, both the Neroverdi and the Granata remain keen, and Inter would be happy to sell to a team within Italy so long as a buyback option were to be part of the deal, although so far neither team have offered more than €8 million.
