Sassuolo made contact with Inter on Wednesday about a move for Andrea Pinamonti and they could now move ahead of Atalanta, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Neroverdi are now much more seriously in the frame for Andrea Pinamonti.

This is because they are about to sell Giacomo Raspadori to either Napoli or Juventus, so they will need a new striker given they already sold Gianluca Scamacca to West Ham United.

Their primary target is Andrea Pinamonti but there is no agreement between the Neroverdi and Inter over the price tag.

Sassuolo can easily move ahead of Atalanta who had seemed to be in pole position for the 23-year-old striker. La Dea are struggling to justify the purchase of a new striker when they still have Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel in the team, meaning one must be sold.
