Torino president Urbano Cairo has shown his glee at getting Valentino Lazaro who Inter paid €22 million for, according to a report in the Italian media this evening.

Speaking during an interview with TMW at the end of a memorial match between Torino and AC Milan, the president was asked about their transfer dealings so far.

He started to explain the players that they have signed who have got a  lot of potential and then he got to Valentino Lazaro who they just got from Inter on a loan deal with an option to buy.

He was clearly happy with the ability of the Austrian winger and cited the fee that Inter paid for him.

“Radonjic has arrived, Pellegri is a purchase because he was not ours, Bayeye who is a youngster with potential, we got Lazaro who Inter paid €22 million and could have great potential.”

Inter signed Valentino Lazaro from Hertha Berlin back in 2019 but he has since been on three different loan spells away from the club and now Torino is his fourth. This is likely to be the final one.
