Alexis Sanchez did not train with the rest of the Inter squad at Appiano Gentile today as he gets closer to leaving the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport today, the Chilean forward was not with the rest of the Nerazzurri squad this morning who are preparing to face Villareal in a friendly tomorrow in Pescara.
This is yet another sign that the termination of the former Barcelona and Manchester United man’s contract is set to take place and it could even be announced later on today.
Inter are going to be paying him €5 million in severance pay which takes into account some wages that were suspended during the pandemic. Some reports are suggesting that it could be as much as €7 million.
He will then head to France to sign with Marseille as he has got an agreement in place with the French side.
