Inter forward Alexis Sanchez has flown to France and is now there to sign his new contract with Marseille, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media tonight.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, via FCInternews, the Chilean forward did not train with the group at Appiano Gentile on Friday morning which was yet another clue that he is very soon to be leaving the club.

It is now reported that he was not at that session because he was flying to the south of France so that he could sign his contract with Marseille.

Whilst it has not been announced yet, this news implies that he and his agent have come to an agreement with Inter for the termination of his contract and it is believed that he will receive €5 million in severance pay.

He is expected to earn €3 million per season whilst at Marseille as per the agreement with the French side.
