Inter are not currently very keen on signing Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi, although their stance could change as the transfer window progresses.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are lukewarm on the 34-year-old but could open up if he is available on loan during the final days of the window.

Acerbi has been one of the names linked with a move to Inter as they look to make one final signing in the form of a low-cost defensive arrival to make up for the loss of Andrea Ranocchia who departed on a free transfer for Monza.

Coach Simone Inzaghi could welcome a reunion with Acerbi, with whom he worked for three years whilst in charge of the Biancocelesti.

However, the 34-year-old is not currently a priority for the Nerazzurri, who will look at other options and then wait to see what develops as the transfer window gets closer to slamming shut.
