Inter midfielder Cesare Casadei has switched agents from Michelangelo Minieri to Paolo Busardo amid transfer links to Premier League giants Chelsea.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the 19-year-old has changed his agent which could represent a new strategy regarding his future as Chelsea push for his signature.

Chelsea have long had Casadei on their radar and in the last couple of weeks have accelerated their interest and hardly appear to be put off despite Inter rejecting their initial offer.

A sale cannot be ruled out particularly if the Blues make a financial effort to reach Inter’s asking price, and on the player’s part he could be receptive to the move.

Until recently Casadei had been represented by Minieri, but he has now switched up his representation which could potentially indicate that he is changing gears ahead of possible negotiations to join Chelsea.
