Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume has turned down a loan move to Cremonese, and could return to Ligue 1 on loan instead.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 20-year-old has rejected the interested of the newly-promoted side while there are a couple of French teams seriously interested in his signature on loan.

Agoume had a fruitful loan spell with Brest in Ligue 1 last season, with the young Frenchman making considerably more progress with regular playing time than he had managed on loan with Spezia during the season before then.

The young midfielder is considering his future with another loan move looking likely, and he will seek the right environment in which to continue developing and growing within the senior game.

Agoume has decided against accepting a loan move to Cremonese, and his next destination now looks likelier to be a team in Ligue 1 again.
