Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti is ready to agree to a move to Sassuolo as he will not wait for Atalanta to wrap up a deal for him any longer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 23-year-old has said yes to the Neroverdi, who are confident of being able to quickly complete a sale of Giacomo Raspadori and then reinvest the fee in a move for Pinamonti.

Atalanta have been chasing Pinamonti for much of the transfer window and the player has preferred La Dea to all other destinations, with no shortage of transfer interest in him off the back of his strong loan season with Empoli last season.

However, the Lombards have not been able to get a deal over the line even in recent days, and this has left the door open for Sassuolo.

The Lombards would like to sign Pinamonti to reinforce their attack following the departure of Gianluca Scamacca, and once the fee arrives from a sale of Raspadori to Napoli they will move for Pinamonti, who will not turn down the move.
