Sassuolo will look to try and sign Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti ahead of Napoli once they complete a sale of forward Giacomo Raspadori to Napoli.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Neroverdi are just waiting for a sale of Raspadori for a significant fee to be completed and then they will move for Pinamonti.

Atalanta have been chasing Pinamonti for much of the summer transfer window, but La Dea have not managed to convince Inter on a deal as their offer has not come close to the Nerazzurri’s asking price for the 23-year-old.

The player would not turn down a move to Sassuolo, and the Emilians could be in a strong position to make an offer that Inter would accept once they cash in on Raspadori.

The Neroverdi’s plan now looks to be to move as quickly as they can so that they can sign Raspadori before Atalanta are able to make the right offer.
