Sassuolo are getting closer and closer to getting a deal done to sign Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Neroverdi are now firm favourites for Pinamonti’s signature once they complete a sale of Giacomo Raspadori to Napoli.

Pinamonti has had no shortage of suitors during the summer transfer window, with Atalanta having particularly been keen but ultimately unable to make a satisfactory offer to get a deal over the line.

Now, the 23-year-old is tired of waiting for La Dea, and would be willing to accept a move to Sassuolo once the Emilians make their formal offer.

The Neroverdi are expected to sell Raspadori to Napoli in the coming days, and once this is confirmed they will be able to invest the fee in an offer that would meet Inter’s valuation for Pinamonti.
