Chelsea are getting ready to make Inter an offer worth €15 million for midfielder Cesare Casadei.
This according to UK news outlet the Evening Standard, who report that the Blues are preparing a new offer worth £12 million, equivalent to around €15 million, for the 19-year-old and that the Nerazzurri would be likely to accept the bid.
Chelsea have been chasing Casadei for the past few weeks, although as of the moment their offer has not been high enough to convince Inter on a deal.
The Nerazzurri would like a significant fee for the 19-year-old in the event that no buyback clause is included in the deal, and the Blues would be ready to offer exactly this.
Chelsea’s intention for Casadei, who is a long-term target, could be to send him out on loan next season, possibly to a team in Serie A, or they could have him split his time between the youth and senior teams like young midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka who they signed from Aston Villa.
