There is no confirmation of reports that Premier League side Liverpool are interested in signing Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri have not received any word that the Champions League finalists have any intention of trying to sign the Croat this summer.

Brozovic has been linked to Liverpool in the past day or so, with some reports claiming that the Reds have put the 29-year-old’s name near the top of their list of potential reinforcements for their midfield before the transfer window slams shut.

However, for the time being at least, the Nerazzurri do not see these links as serious, as nothing has filtered through to them about serious interest.

Inter do not see Brozovic as being on the market and do not expect Liverpool to move for him at any point within the next few weeks.
