Sassuolo are getting extremely close to wrapping up a deal to sign Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Neroverdi will meet with the 23-year-old’s representatives today and that they already have total agreement with Inter on a €20 million fee for the deal.
Sassuolo have overtaken Atalanta to sign Pinamonti, with the fee from an expected sale of Giacomo Raspadori to Napoli key to their being able to meet Inter’s asking price.
Talks between the Neroverdi and the Nerazzurri are all but done, with the Emilians having agreed to a fee of around €20 million, whilst a buyback clause worth around €30 million will also be included in the deal.
Sassuolo must still hold at least one more meeting with Pinamonti’s agent in order to finalize the deal, but the striker would be ready to make the switch for next season.
