Alexis Sanchez has given his goodbye mention to Inter fans now that he is confirmed to be on his way with Marseille the destination.

Writing in a message posted on his Instagram account, the Chilean looked back on his three seasons with the Nerazzurri and thanked the club and the fans for his time in Milan.

Sanchez joined Inter from Manchester United during the summer of 2019, and while the former Udinese, Barcelona, and Arsenal was not always a regular fixture in the starting eleven, he more than had his say in a Nerazzurri shirt across his three years at the club.

Now, the 33-year-old is set to join Marseille with the French side having confirmed an agreement in principle for his signature, but he does so having left his mark on Inter, with 109 appearances across all competitions, forty as a starter, from which he notched twenty goals and 23 assists.

Sanchez wrote to fans, “End of a cycle, thanks Inter.”
