Inter President Steven Zhang could decide to accept an offer from Chelsea for Denzel Dumfries and Cesare Casadei rather than allowing Milan Skriniar to be sold.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who reports that the President could cash in on Dumfries and Casadei for a total of €45-50 million in order to avoid a sale of Skriniar.

Zhang is still considering what to do as far as sales over the final weeks of the transfer window, with the expected sale of Andrea Pinamonti still nowhere near enough to meet the club’s financial targets for the summer.

Selling Skriniar is one option with Paris Saint-Germain interest, but the President is well aware that, particularly at this stage of the window and with the season starting this weekend, this could be extremely damaging to the team on the pitch.

Accordingly, Zhang could prioritize alternative solutions to having to sacrifice Skriniar, one of which could be represented by selling Dumfries and Casdei to Chelsea.

The Blues have made both Inter players serious targets, and the Nerazzurri could listen to offers in the region of €45-50 million for a package deal containing the two players.
