Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti is closer than ever to joining Sassuolo, although the details of a buyback or termination clause are still being discussed.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the two clubs are still working out the clause in the 23-year-old’s deal with no agreement having yet been found on Inter’s desired buyback option.

Sassuolo are ready to meet Inter’s €20 million asking price for Pinamonti, whilst the Neroverdi also have the player’s agreement, and so things look to be close to getting over the line as far as a move to Emilia-Romagna for the Nerazzurri striker.

However, as of yet the two clubs have not fully worked out an agreement on a buyback clause, something which Inter have always asked for as they are hoping not to lose control of the 23-year-old’s future permanently.

A termination clause in Pinamonti’s contract is an option that is being explored in this respect as the clubs aim to hammer out a final deal.
