Federico Dimarco can become more important for Inter this season now that Romelu Lukaku is back at the club, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere della Sera, the Italian wingback had a limited impact at Inter last season but Romelu Lukaku is a player that can bring out the best in him.

The Belgian striker has scored twice in pre-season and they both came from crosses from the left side by Robin Gosens and Federico Dimarco.

He is a striker who thrives off of the sort of crosses that are Federico Dimarco’s best attribute. That will be important given he is likely to start the match against Lecce if Robin Gosens is still not quite fit.

The best providers in the team will still almost certainly be Hakan Calhanoglu and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as they will be further up the pitch and taking set pieces.
