Inter’s first Serie A opponents Lecce have emerged as a possible destination for Inter striker Eddie Salcedo, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews, the young striker has got a number of clubs keen on signing him on loan and the latest to join the queue is Lecce, Inter’s opponents on Saturday evening.

In Italy, the other two teams that are in the picture are Udinese in Serie A and Pisa in Serie B. Despite all this Italian interest, he seems destined to play in Belgium next season instead.

Standard Liege have got priority with Inter having had Zinho Vanheusden on loan for the past two seasons. The Nerazzurri know that he can make mistakes at Standard Liege and not immediately be put on the bench for a long time.

There is less patience for young player development in Italy than there is in Belgium.
