Inter defender Milan Skriniar is still the priority for Paris Saint Germain but they are looking at alternative targets as well, according to a rapport in the French media today.

As has been reported by L’Equipe in France today, the Ligue 1 champions have not given up hope of signing Milan Skriniar from Inter and still believe that they can get the deal done.

He is the priority but they are starting to assess other defensive targets in case they can not persuade Inter to accept an offer closer to their own valuation.

The main target that they have identified is RB Leipzig defender Mohamed Simakan. He has a contract that runs until 2026 though and he is less proven at the top level than Milan Skriniar.

Valued at €40 million, he would be much cheaper than the Slovakian though and it would be a simpler deal to do for PSG.
