Danilo D’Ambrosio has not shown any signs of recovery and he will be absent from the match against Lecce on Saturday, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Italian defender will not be a part of the Inter squad for the upcoming match as he has got a muscle injury.

His last hope was to show some serious improvement in the Friday morning training session but that has not been the case.

The other area of the squad where there is some level of intrigue ahead of the game is the left wing. It is expected that Robin Gosens is going to be starting there but he is being put under pressure by Federico Dimarco.

The Italian has been impressing in training and pre-season and Simone Inzaghi could decide to use him there instead of the German.
