Inter CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are working on selling Cesare Casadei to either Chelsea or Sassuolo as soon as possible, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the Nerazzurri hierarchy are very keen to get another sale under their belts to help ease the financial situation at the club.

They have managed to offload Andrea Pinamonti to Sassuolo for €20 million and now they want to receive a fee in the region of €15 million.

The two teams most interested are Chelsea and Sassuolo and each would bring different benefits for Inter. Sassuolo are unlikely to bid as high for the midfielder as Chelsea are but they would be willing to include a buy-back clause for Inter to keep some control.

There will be talks between the clubs on Friday to try and see where the player will go.
